Travel CT Technologist Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,600–$2,790
- Assignment Dates: January 18, 2027 – April 19, 2027
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Schedule: 40 hours per week
- Shift Duration: 8-hour shifts
- Shift: Evening schedule, generally 3:30 p.m. to midnight; may vary to approximately 3:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
- Call: Weekday and weekend call participation on a shared rotation
- Healthcare Setting: On-site critical access hospital imaging department
- Position Type: Travel assignment
CT and Radiologic Technologist Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of diagnostic imaging experience
- Current CRT certification in Radiography and Fluoroscopy
- ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology and Computed Tomography
- Strong CT experience is required
- Ability to perform diagnostic radiography, fluoroscopy, portable imaging, emergency department studies, and CT examinations
- Ability to participate in a rotating weekday and weekend call schedule
- Professional communication skills and a commitment to safe, high-quality patient care
CT Technologist and X-Ray Technologist Responsibilities
- Perform CT examinations in accordance with established imaging protocols and safety standards
- Conduct diagnostic X-ray, fluoroscopy, and portable imaging procedures
- Provide imaging services for emergency department patients and other hospital areas
- Prepare patients, verify orders, explain procedures, and promote patient comfort and safety
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment while recognizing and reporting equipment concerns
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images and document procedures accurately
- Respond to scheduled call assignments and support timely imaging coverage
- Collaborate with providers, nurses, and other members of the care team
