Job Details

  • Position: CT Technologist / CT Tech Travel Assignment
  • Location: Anchorage, Alaska
  • Setting: Acute care hospital / outpatient imaging environment
  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • Start Date: 10/12/2026
  • Shift: 4x10 day shifts, Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays
  • Shift Duration: 10 hours
  • Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,280 - $2,450
  • Charting System: Epic
  • Weekend Requirement: Occasional Saturday coverage
  • Floating: Between CT and X-Ray as needed within scope

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience required
  • Current BLS certification
  • Current ARRT (R) certification
  • Current ARRT (CT) certification
  • Ability to start and maintain peripheral IV access
  • Experience with contrast administration and post-processing imaging
  • Strong knowledge of CT procedures including abdomen, chest, head, pelvis, spine, musculoskeletal, and vascular studies
  • Experience with Epic preferred
  • Fluoro permit preferred
  • Ability to work with adult, pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric patients
  • Must be flexible and able to float between X-Ray and CT as needed

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality CT imaging for a wide range of patient cases
  • Start IVs, run I-Stat labs, and inject contrast according to protocol
  • Post-process images to support accurate and timely diagnostic care
  • Assist with X-Ray coverage when needed and remain within scope of practice
  • Provide compassionate care to patients throughout the imaging process
  • Support workflows for mobile patients and follow-up oncology-related imaging needs
  • Maintain safe, efficient, and professional imaging operations
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure excellent patient experience and quality outcomes
