CT Technologist (ARRT-CT) – 13-week travel assignment in Atlanta, GA. Join a busy hospital CT Imaging department for evenings/weekend coverage; ARRT (CT) and BLS required. Great opportunity for experienced CT Techs seeking travel radiology jobs in Atlanta healthcare.

Job Details

  • Location: Atlanta, GA 30342 (Hospital CT Imaging Department)
  • Assignment Length: 13 weeks (May 11, 2026 – August 8, 2026)
  • Shift: 10-hour evening shifts (coverage window 8:00 AM – 8:30 PM); Friday / Saturday / Sunday
  • Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,980 – $2,120
  • Setting: Hospital – Emergency Department and inpatient CT imaging
  • Travel Position: Travel CT Technologist (no local candidates within 50 miles)

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a CT Technologist (CT Tech / Computed Tomography Technologist)
  • Current ARRT (CT) certification required
  • Active BLS certification (AHA preferred)
  • Experience with CT protocols, contrast administration, and PACS image management
  • Ability to work independently in a high-volume hospital CT department (ED/inpatient focus)
  • Strong communication, patient care, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform a full range of CT procedures following hospital protocols and radiation safety standards
  • Provide high-quality CT imaging services for emergency department and inpatient populations
  • Administer IV contrast as indicated and manage contrast safety checks per policy
  • Operate CT scanners, optimize protocols, and perform image post-processing and reconstruction
  • Accurately document exams, maintain patient records in PACS/RIS, and ensure timely image distribution to radiologists
  • Collaborate with radiologists, ED physicians, nurses, and the radiology team to deliver exceptional patient care
  • Manage high case volume in a fast-paced hospital imaging environment while maintaining quality and turnaround time
