CT Technologist Travel Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,240 – $2,400
- Location: Hospital setting – Bethel, AK 99559 (Alaska travel job)
- Contract Duration: 26 weeks (02/04/2026 – 08/05/2026)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts
- Employment Type: Travel Contract | CT technologist travel assignment
- Openings: 2 CT Technologist positions
- Housing: Shared units provided (no private housing; no pets allowed)
CT Technologist Job Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program or equivalent (Radiologic Technologist / CT technologist)
- Minimum 2 years post-graduate radiologic experience in a hospital setting (hospital CT experience preferred)
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification required
- CT registered or Board eligible preferred (CT registry preferred)
- Proficiency with CT angiography (CTA) and cross-sectional imaging techniques
- Experience administering IV contrast and monitoring patients for adverse reactions
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary radiology team
- Basic computer and PACS/RIS experience desirable
- Required immunizations: Hepatitis A & B, Varicella, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Tdap, Polio (or titers/historical records)
- Proof of completed COVID-19 vaccinations
- Background check, drug screen, competency checklist, and other onboarding documents required prior to travel
- Flight itinerary must be provided at least one week in advance for orientation and housing arrangements
CT Technologist Responsibilities
- Perform radiographic and CT examinations for patients of all ages (neonatal through geriatric)
- Operate CT scanners safely and accurately, adhering to hospital protocols and radiation safety standards
- Prepare and position patients, administer IV contrast when indicated, and monitor for reactions
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images and assist radiologists with CT interpretation and protocols
- Maintain accurate patient records, complete exam documentation in PACS/RIS, and ensure HIPAA compliance
- Support efficient department operations and continuity of patient care in a hospital radiology setting
- Perform front desk/receptionist duties as needed and participate in New Employee Orientation (held Tuesdays and Wednesdays)
