This 13-week travel CT technologist job offers a consistent Monday–Friday schedule in a busy Level I trauma and stroke center equipped with GE and Siemens CT scanners. CT Technologist Job Requirements

  • At least 1 year of recent CT Technologist or CT Tech experience in a hospital or acute-care setting
  • Current CT Technologist certification
  • Required Massachusetts licensure or eligibility to practice as applicable
  • Strong knowledge of computed tomography procedures, patient safety, and radiation protection practices
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced trauma and stroke center
  • Successful completion of applicable facility credentialing and competency requirements

CT Technologist Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic CT examinations according to established protocols and physician orders
  • Prepare patients for procedures, explain examinations, and promote comfort and safety throughout the imaging process
  • Operate GE and Siemens CT equipment while maintaining image quality and protocol accuracy
  • Recognize and respond appropriately to urgent imaging needs in trauma and stroke patients
  • Verify patient information, review clinical history, and document procedures accurately
  • Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team
  • Maintain compliance with radiation safety standards, infection prevention practices, and department policies
  • Perform quality-control activities and report equipment or workflow concerns promptly
