CT Technologist Job Requirements
- At least 2 years of recent experience as a CT Technologist or CT Tech
- Current CT Technologist certification
- ARRT certification required
- Current BLS certification required
- Ability to perform effectively in a hospital CT imaging environment
- Strong patient-care, communication, and teamwork skills
CT Imaging Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic CT examinations according to established protocols
- Prepare patients for CT procedures, explain examinations, and promote comfort and safety
- Operate CT imaging equipment accurately and safely
- Review imaging orders and patient histories to ensure appropriate CT procedures
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow radiation safety standards
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient hospital imaging environment
