- Schedule: Thursday/Friday 9:00 PM–7:00 AM; Saturday/Sunday 8:30 PM–7:00 AM
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,600–$2,790
CT Technologist Job Requirements
- 3–5 years of CT technologist experience preferred
- Current Massachusetts license and ARRT(CT) certification required
- BLS certification required
- Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiological Technology program
- Ability to work overnight hospital shifts and rotating weekends
- Strong working knowledge of CT imaging equipment, PACS, and MEDITECH
- Experience with GE VCT and Evo/Evolution equipment is highly desirable
- Ability to submit with a willing-to-wait license status
Responsibilities
- Perform CT scans in accordance with hospital protocols and quality standards
- Prepare, warm up, and quality-check CT scanner equipment before patient studies
- Operate CT imaging systems efficiently while maintaining patient comfort and safety
- Manipulate images and complete required reconstructions and formatting
- Accurately document all required exam information and technical details
- Communicate wet reads and urgent findings to physicians, nursing units, and the Emergency Department as needed
- Restore prior exams, create CDs when requested, and support radiologist workflow
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked work area
- Report equipment issues promptly and assist with clerical or workflow support as needed
