Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience in a hospital setting (trauma CT, stroke protocol experience preferred)
• Valid California CRT (Certified Radiologic Technologist) and Fluoroscopy certification
• ARRT (R) registration / certification required
• BLS Certification (AHA or American Red Cross)
• Proven experience with CTA Head, perfusion studies, and trauma protocols
• Epic charting system experience preferred; familiarity with PACS workflow
• Ability to provide accurate 7-year work history verification and two professional references obtained within the last year
• Available for lab work within 3–5 days of signing

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and advanced CT/Computed Tomography procedures for all age groups (neonates to geriatrics)
• Operate and maintain radiology equipment (GE, Siemens, O-ARM) and PACS to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Perform CT angiography (CTA) and perfusion studies consistent with hospital stroke protocols
• Assess and monitor patients before, during, and after CT exams—ensure safety, comfort, and radiation protection
• Prepare and administer contrast media safely and document appropriately
• Work independently with sound clinical judgment; collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary care teams
• Follow infection prevention, isolation precautions, and radiation safety standards
• Participate in orientation and complete required onboarding modules for travel assignments
