Qualifications & Certifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent CT Technologist experience (CT Tech experience required)
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Experience with Philips (listed as Phillips in some sites) CT equipment required
• Previous travel assignment or traveler experience preferred (travel imaging jobs)
• Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend
• Strong communication, patient care, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform computerized tomography (CT) scanning procedures per department protocols and safety standards
• Set up, monitor, and operate complex CT equipment for diagnostic imaging and advanced CT studies
• Prepare and administer IV contrast media according to policy; monitor patients for allergic reactions and respond per protocol
• Transfer and position patients safely, using immobilization devices as needed and practicing patient-centered care
• Obtain and document patient identification, allergies, clinical history, and relevant imaging orders
• Produce, process, archive, and transfer high-quality diagnostic images; ensure DICOM/image management accuracy
• Assist radiologists and specialty teams during image-guided procedures and advanced CT protocols
• Maintain equipment calibration, cleanliness, and inventory; report equipment issues and participate in quality improvement
• Participate in department training, educate new staff as needed, and support continuous improvement initiatives
