Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,340 – $2,510 (competitive travel CT tech pay)
• Location: Peoria, IL 61637 — Peoria, Illinois; Central Illinois travel CT job
• Setting: Acute Care Hospital – Radiology Department (Level 1 trauma center)
• Assignment Duration: 20 weeks (April 27, 2026 – September 14, 2026)
• Shift: 12-hour Days (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
• Start Date: April 27, 2026
• Equipment: GE CT scanners (experience preferred)

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• At least 1 year of recent CT Technologist experience in a hospital setting (CT tech, computed tomography)
• Active Illinois CT Technologist license or proof of application in progress (Illinois CT license)
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency) certification
• Experience with GE CT scanners and trauma protocols preferred
• Level 1 trauma center experience preferred; comfortable with high-acuity trauma imaging
• Ability to start IVs for contrast-enhanced studies
• Familiarity with Epic EMR for imaging documentation
• Strong communication and teamwork skills for multidisciplinary hospital environment

Key Responsibilities

• Perform basic and advanced CT scans (computed tomography) using GE equipment following department protocols
• Start IVs for contrast studies and manage contrast administration safely
• Provide high-quality imaging services for trauma and acute care patients in a Level 1 trauma center
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in Epic EMR and complete required clinical paperwork
• Collaborate with radiologists, ED staff, trauma teams, and other multidisciplinary clinicians
• Adhere to radiation safety standards, infection control, and hospital policies
• Participate in orientation and ongoing department training to support consistent, high-quality care
