- Shift: 10-hour day shifts, 11:00 AM - 9:30 PM
- Schedule: 4 shifts per week, Tuesday through Friday
- Call: 1 day per week
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,030 - $2,190
- Setting: Hospital radiology department
- EMR: Cerner
- Location: Poplar Bluff, Missouri
CT Technologist Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of CT technologist experience required
- ARRT (CT) certification required
- Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program
- Licensed as required by the state for general radiography
- Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and CT processing systems
- Experience with contrast studies, sterile technique, and routine diagnostic CT procedures
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced hospital imaging environment
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and advanced CT scans, including head, neck, chest, abdomen/pelvis, spine, and extremity imaging
- Support biopsy and drainage procedures as needed
- Provide timely diagnostic imaging services for inpatient and outpatient populations
- Assist with basic radiographic, fluoroscopic, portable, C-arm, and OR imaging procedures when assigned
- Operate CT equipment in accordance with departmental protocols and radiologist direction
- Maintain safe, accurate, and compassionate patient care throughout all imaging exams
