Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist, CT Tech, or Radiology Tech
- CT Technologist certification or registry preferred
- ARRT registration required or preferred based on state and facility requirements
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- State licensure preferred, if applicable
- Experience with EPIC and PACS preferred
- Strong communication, attention to detail, and patient-centered care skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative hospital imaging department
Responsibilities
- Perform computed tomography procedures in a safe, efficient, and compassionate manner
- Position and immobilize patients appropriately to obtain accurate diagnostic images
- Verify all patient and procedural information before completing exams
- Operate CT scanning equipment and produce high-quality diagnostic scans
- Administer contrast agents and perform intravenous injections as needed for procedures
- Assist radiologists with biopsies, drainage procedures, and related interventions
- Maintain working knowledge of CT imaging systems, including PACS and Radiant
- Follow safety protocols, timeout procedures, and infection control standards
- Support cross-coverage needs within the imaging department when required
