Job Details
- Position: Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN)
- Setting: Acute care hospital
- Location: Anchorage, AK 99508
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks or 26 weeks, traveler’s choice
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, no weekends, no call
- Shift Duration: 8-hour days
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,950 - $2,100
- Charting System: Epic preferred
- Patient Population: Neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
- Certification: RD/RDN required
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical dietitian experience required
- Pediatric dietitian experience strongly preferred
- Experience working with adult and pediatric populations preferred
- Experience with enteral nutrition and parenteral nutrition preferred
- Strong knowledge of nutrition assessments, therapeutic diets, and nutrition-focused physical exams
- Epic electronic medical record experience preferred
- RD/RDN certification required
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced acute care environment
Responsibilities
- Complete nutrition assessments and reassessments for hospitalized patients
- Develop and update individualized nutrition care plans
- Provide guidance on therapeutic diets, enteral nutrition, and parenteral nutrition
- Support patients with a variety of diagnoses across all age groups
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote positive patient outcomes
- Document care accurately in the electronic medical record
- Apply clinical expertise to support safe, effective, and patient-centered nutrition services
