Job Requirements / Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer in a hospital or non-invasive cardiology setting
- RDCS (AE) or RDMS credential required (ARDMS registry preferred)
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Proven experience with general cardiac echo (TTE), Doppler and stress/treadmill echocardiography
- Structural Heart experience preferred; ability to support Cath Lab procedures for structural cases is a plus
- Comfortable working with hospital EHR systems and maintaining accurate procedure documentation
- Ability to follow HIPAA, safety and infection control protocols and demonstrate flexibility with scheduling
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE), Doppler studies, and stress/treadmill echo exams
- Support the Non-invasive/Echo Treadmill lab and assist in Cath Lab for Structural Heart procedures as requested
- Operate ultrasound equipment, optimize imaging, and ensure accurate measurements and documentation
- Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and the healthcare team to deliver excellent patient care
- Prepare patients, explain procedures, and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout exams
- Maintain timely, accurate records in the medical chart and adhere to hospital policies
