Job Requirements / Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in food services, hospitality, hospital dietary, or a related field
• Strong customer service and communication skills for patient-facing roles
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods; able to perform tray delivery duties
• Friendly, reliable, detail-oriented, and professional when interacting with patients and hospital staff
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards (ServSafe preferred but not required)
• Willingness to follow hospital policies including patient privacy and dietary restrictions

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver meal trays to patient rooms promptly, courteously, and in line with patient dietary requirements (patient meal delivery)
• Confirm meal orders, verify accuracy of food items, and check for allergies or diet modifications
• Provide friendly and helpful customer service to patients, visitors, and clinical staff
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dietary work areas, tray lines, and service carts
• Follow all hospital food safety, sanitation, and infection control guidelines
• Assist with inventory, tray assembly, and other dietary tasks as needed to support the hospital dietary team
