Job Requirements / Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in food services, healthcare food service, or a related field preferred (Dietary Aide experience a plus)
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Strong customer service and communication skills; experience interacting with patients and clinical staff
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods and safely handle meal trays and food carts
• Friendly, reliable, detail-oriented, and able to follow dietary instructions and patient meal plans
• Food Handler's Card or ServSafe certification preferred but not required

Responsibilities – Hospital Food Service & Dietary Aide Duties

• Deliver meal trays to patient rooms in a timely, accurate, and professional manner (patient food service)
• Confirm meal orders, dietary restrictions, and patient preferences to ensure compliance with meal plans
• Provide friendly, compassionate customer service to patients, visitors, and healthcare staff
• Ensure meals are presented and delivered according to hospital standards and patient dietary needs
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization within the dietary unit and transport equipment
• Assist dietary and clinical teams with special meal requests and support overall patient care goals
