Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in blood bank or a related clinical laboratory specialty
• Experience as a Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Scientist required
• Medical Laboratory Technician candidates will not be considered
• Active certification/credential from ASCP, NCA, AMT, AAB, or HHS
• Experience with specimen testing and analysis preferred
• Ability to work the required holiday rotation, including 2 major holidays and 1 minor holiday
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and teamwork in a fast-paced hospital lab setting

Responsibilities

• Perform blood bank testing and related laboratory procedures with precision
• Conduct specimen testing and analysis to support timely patient care
• Follow established laboratory protocols, quality standards, and safety procedures
• Document and communicate results accurately within the laboratory workflow
• Support smooth night-shift operations and every 3rd weekend coverage
• Collaborate with the care team to help maintain efficient, reliable clinical laboratory services
