Required Qualifications
- Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) certification – ASCP required
- Minimum 1 year recent hospital laboratory experience
- Experience performing a variety of clinical laboratory tests and operating lab instrumentation
- Willingness to work 12-hour night shifts on a 7 on / 7 off rotation, including scheduled holidays
- Current immunizations and health screenings as required for onboarding (COVID-19, Influenza, Hepatitis B, MMR, Varicella, TB/PPD, etc.)
- Successful completion of background check and drug screening
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced hospital lab environment
Key Responsibilities
- Perform clinical laboratory tests and procedures accurately and in accordance with established protocols
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and instruments used in hospital labs
- Document, verify, and report test results to healthcare providers in a timely manner
- Follow laboratory safety, quality, and compliance standards to support reliable patient care
- Collaborate with laboratory staff, technologists, and clinicians to ensure excellent clinical support
- Participate in holiday and shift rotations as scheduled
