Medical Assistant Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $900–$970
- Location: Boston, Massachusetts
- Healthcare Setting: On-site outpatient hospital clinic

Medical Assistant Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in an outpatient clinic or hospital-based healthcare setting
- Medical Assistant training, certification, or equivalent clinical preparation
- Ability to obtain required license or certificate verification
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR); EPIC experience is strongly preferred
- Strong patient service, communication, organization, and clinical documentation skills
- Ability to work on-site and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced outpatient care environment
Medical Assistant Responsibilities
- Room patients and prepare them for outpatient medical visits
- Obtain and document accurate vital signs and other clinical information
- Record patient information and visit details accurately in EPIC
- Assist with training and support related to in-office procedures
- Prepare examination rooms and help maintain efficient patient flow
- Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and members of the clinical care team
- Follow established clinical, safety, privacy, and electronic documentation standards
