Medical Assistant – Outpatient Oncology Travel Assignment in Issaquah, WA

- Float: As needed within skillset; rare floating may be required if census is low

Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of Medical Assistant experience required
- Active Washington MA-C credential required; MA-R is not accepted
- BLS certification required
- Epic experience required
- Strong knowledge of healthcare terminology and standard clinical workflows
- Ability to support outpatient clinic operations and adapt to patient care needs
- Comfort with compliance requirements and providing references during the hiring process
Responsibilities
- Take and record vital signs accurately
- Room patients and prepare exam rooms for visits
- Support providers with daily clinic workflows and patient care activities
- Assist with front office tasks as needed, including scheduling and patient support
- Prepare charts, organize documentation, and maintain smooth patient flow
- Assist with specimen labeling, medication administration support, and basic clinical procedures within scope
- Help coordinate follow-up communication, referrals, and patient readiness for appointments
- Contribute to a professional, compassionate experience for adult oncology patients
