Job Requirements (MRI Technologist)

  • Experience: Prior MRI technologist experience helpful; specific years not required

Responsibilities

  • Perform MRI examinations according to hospital protocols and departmental procedures
  • Conduct thorough MRI safety screening and ensure adherence to MRI safety standards
  • Prepare, educate, and position patients to support comfort and diagnostic-quality imaging
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images; recognize and troubleshoot routine imaging issues
  • Document exam details accurately and communicate pertinent findings/concerns to the radiology team
  • Support patient flow and maintain a clean, safe, and organized diagnostic imaging environment
