  • Setting: Hospital – Imaging Department (Magnetic Resonance Imaging)
  • Assignment Type: Travel Contract – Travel MRI Technologist
  • Duration: 13 weeks (April 27, 2026 – July 27, 2026)
  • Shift: Days, 3 x 12-hour shifts per week (06:00 – 18:30)
  • Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,750 – $1,880

Qualifications / Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as an MRI Technologist, MRI Tech, RT(R), RDMS, or CNMT preferred
  • Registry with ARRT in MRI or certification through AMRIT (Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists)
  • Licensed or eligible for temporary license with the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI)
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association required within 90 days of hire
  • Epic charting experience required — Epic documentation for imaging/radiology
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to maintain patient confidentiality
  • Ability to float to affiliate hospitals within the health system as needed

Primary Responsibilities

  • Operate state-of-the-art MRI equipment and supporting computer systems to produce high-quality diagnostic images
  • Perform MRI scans accurately and safely according to physician orders and departmental protocols
  • Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper screening for MRI compatibility
  • Document imaging procedures, patient records, and findings using Epic charting systems
  • Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver exceptional patient care
  • Maintain equipment, adhere to quality assurance procedures, and follow infection control policies
