• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1,950 - $2,100 per week

Job Details

• Location: Richland, WA 99352 (Tri-Cities, Washington)
• Setting: Hospital-based MRI Department (Trauma Level II environment)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 6, 2026 – July 6, 2026)
• Shift: Variable shifts (Days, Swings, Nights) to cover leaves; shifts may be 8, 10, or 12 hours depending on coverage needs
• Hours per Week: 40
• Weekend Coverage: Occasional weekends required (rotation)
• On-Call: Not required
• Patient Ratio: 1:1
• Equipment: Siemens MRI (experience with Siemens preferred)

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of MRI Technologist experience in a hospital setting (hospital MRI technologist or travel MRI technologist experience preferred)
• Current ARRT (MR) certification (ARRT MR)
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Washington State MRI Technologist license (must be in hand at time of application)
• Experience with Epic electronic health record/charting preferred
• Experience in a Trauma Level II hospital setting preferred
• Ability to work variable shifts, including some weekends; flexible travel MRI schedule
• References: Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of MRI procedures, including MR Cardiac (with/without contrast), MR Angiography, Breast MRI, Abdominal and Pelvic MRI, Neuro MRI, and Pediatric MRI
• Operate Siemens MRI equipment and ensure high-quality magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans
• Prepare and administer contrast media safely and document contrast use per protocol
• Maintain radiation safety (MRI safety practices) and infection control standards
• Start peripheral IVs as needed for contrast administration
• Utilize Epic for accurate charting and documentation of imaging procedures
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including radiologists, nurses, and support staff to ensure patient-centered care
• Provide compassionate care to a diverse patient population, including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Adapt to variable shift schedules and provide reliable coverage as needed in this hospital MRI technologist role
