- Schedule: Saturday, Sunday, Monday; no call
- Charting System: Epic experience preferred
- Imaging Equipment: Philips experience is a plus
MRI Technologist Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of MRI technologist experience required; 2 years preferred
- ARRT (MR or R) or ARMRIT certification accepted
- BLS required
- ACLS, NIHSS, and Nursys required with submission
- Active license in hand before start date
- Experience with Epic preferred
- Strong knowledge of MRI safety, radiation safety, and isolation precautions/PPE
- Ability to complete required labs within 72 hours of accepting the offer or have a plan in place
MRI Technologist Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality MRI exams across a variety of body regions and patient populations
- Prepare patients for diagnostic imaging, including screening, positioning, and education
- Assist with contrast media preparation and administration as appropriate
- Maintain accurate documentation and support smooth workflow in Epic
- Follow MRI safety protocols and maintain a safe, patient-centered care environment
- Work collaboratively with radiology and interdisciplinary team members to ensure efficient patient care
- Contribute to a positive patient experience while delivering consistent, reliable imaging services
