Job Details – Travel Pharmacy Technician, Atlanta Healthcare Job

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,030 – $1,100
• Location: Atlanta, GA (Zip: 30342) — Atlanta healthcare jobs, Georgia pharmacy technician roles
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 8-hour days, Monday–Friday (8:30am–5:00pm)
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Job Requirements – Pharmacy Technician Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician within a hospital or specialty setting (hospital pharmacy experience preferred)
• Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Georgia (Georgia pharmacy technician registration required)
• Ability to demonstrate proficiency in at least two pharmacy function areas (examples: production/distribution, oncology, inventory management, narcotics, nursery, surgery, sterile/non-sterile compounding, home care, or outpatient)
• Willingness and ability to provide patient care services to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• No local candidates within 50 miles (Travel pharmacy job requirement)

Responsibilities – Clinical Pharmacy Technician Duties

• Assist pharmacists in filling, compounding, and dispensing physician orders in a hospital pharmacy setting
• Perform technical duties related to handling, packaging, labeling, and delivery of pharmaceuticals
• Practice in two or more specific pharmacy function areas, including but not limited to production/distribution, oncology, inventory management, narcotics, nursery, surgery, compounding, and home care/outpatient
• Provide accurate and compassionate patient care services across all age groups in a clinical hospital environment
• Maintain accurate records, ensure compliance with state regulations, and support medication safety and inventory control
