Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,030 - $2,190
• Location: Nantucket, MA (02554) — travel pharmacy job in Massachusetts
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (April 27, 2026 – July 25, 2026)
• Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday (between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM)
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• On-Call: Rotating weeknights, weekends, and holidays with other staff
• Shared Housing: Provided at no cost — travel pharmacist benefit

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of hospital pharmacy experience; travel pharmacist and clinical pharmacist experience preferred
• Active Massachusetts Pharmacy license required (pharmacist license – MA)
• Familiarity with EPIC and Omnicell systems preferred
• Experience with sterile compounding and aseptic technique (USP standards knowledge preferred)
• Ability to participate in on-call rotation, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Completion of required onboarding credentials and health screenings prior to start

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical pharmacy services and ensure safe medication management across inpatient units
• Oversee pharmacy operations including medication dispensing, inventory control, and regulatory compliance
• Perform sterile compounding and maintain high standards of aseptic technique and medication safety
• Utilize EPIC and Omnicell for medication orders, medication administration records, and inventory management
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize pharmacotherapy and patient outcomes
• Participate in on-call coverage and support pharmacy continuity during evenings, weekends, and holidays
