• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,580 - $1,700
• Location: Acute Care & Inpatient Rehab, Main Hospital, 2nd Floor — Conroe, TX (77304)
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (April 13, 2026 – July 13, 2026)
• Shift: 8-hour days (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs

Qualifications & Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in the Physical Therapy field (6 months in the last year required)
• Physical Therapist (PT) certification; active PT license or eligibility to obtain Texas licensure preferred
• Experience in acute care and inpatient rehab preferred (stroke rehab, ICU, Med/Surg, ortho exposure a plus)
• Comfort floating between acute care and inpatient rehab units as needed
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR is a plus

Responsibilities & Clinical Duties

• Perform patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans in both acute care and inpatient rehab settings
• Manage caseloads: approximately 7-8 evaluations per therapist in acute care, and 4-5 in inpatient rehab
• Provide hands-on care using a variety of standard acute and rehab equipment; support mobility, ADL retraining, and gait training
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of PTs, PTAs, nurses, physicians, and rehab staff to maximize patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and data collection using Meditech or designated EMR
• Promote a positive team atmosphere, contribute to departmental growth, and participate in quality improvement initiatives
