Physical Therapist Job Requirements
- Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school
- Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida
- CPR certification
- At least 1 year of outpatient clinical experience
- Strong clinical reasoning, documentation, and patient education skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team
Responsibilities
- Complete comprehensive outpatient physical therapy evaluations of assigned patients
- Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
- Provide therapeutic interventions focused on improving function, mobility, and safe discharge planning
- Document evaluations, goals, progress notes, and discharge planning accurately and on time
- Educate patients, families, students, and coworkers as appropriate
- Follow physician orders, clinic policies, and all applicable practice standards
- Maintain a strong focus on patient safety, quality care, and professional growth
