• Location: Pasco, WA 99301 (Tri-Cities, Washington)
• Setting: Hospital-based outpatient orthopedic clinic
• Assignment Type: Travel therapy / travel PT job (13-week contract)
• Start Date: March 16, 2026
• End Date: June 14, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Hours per Week: 40 (36 hours guaranteed, up to 40 as needed)
• Shift: 8-hour day shifts
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1580 - $1700
• Patient Volume: 12–14 patients per day (productivity expectation: ~60 visits/week)
• Overtime: Pre-approval by director required
• Floating: No floating to other clinics required

Job Requirements (Physical Therapist Qualifications)

• Active Physical Therapist (PT) license or eligible to obtain prior to start (state licensure for Washington preferred)
• Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred; new graduates not accepted
• First-time travelers welcome; new graduates not accepted
• Strong clinical skills in orthopedic evaluation, treatment planning, manual therapy, and documentation
• Ability to manage a busy outpatient caseload and work efficiently as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team

Responsibilities (Travel PT Duties)

• Evaluate and treat outpatient orthopedic patients in a hospital-based clinic
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care to improve mobility, function, and pain management
• Provide evidence-based interventions including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and patient education
• Manage a high-volume caseload with efficient scheduling and occasional double-booking of follow-up visits
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner using electronic medical records
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other rehabilitation staff to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and self-management strategies
