Job Requirements / Qualifications

  • Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT or equivalent) from an accredited program
  • Active and valid Physical Therapist license for the state of Arizona (Arizona PT license)
  • Current CPR certification
  • Minimum 1 year of outpatient clinical experience required (outpatient physical therapy, orthopedic experience preferred)
  • Strong clinical reasoning, patient assessment, and treatment planning skills
  • Excellent documentation skills (EMR experience preferred) and knowledge of billing/compliance basics
  • Commitment to patient and staff safety, HIPAA compliance, and evidence-based practice
  • Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills

Primary Responsibilities

  • Evaluate assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans using evidence-based practices
  • Provide high-quality outpatient physical therapy care for orthopedic and geriatric populations
  • Perform therapeutic interventions, manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and functional training to restore mobility and independence
  • Document patient care clearly, accurately, and in a timely manner in the facility EMR
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on home programs, fall prevention, and injury prevention
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
  • Maintain compliance with state, federal, and facility guidelines and participate in quality improvement initiatives
  • Promote a safe, patient-centered, and positive environment for patients and staff
