Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1920 - $2060
• Location: Show Low, AZ 85901 (White Mountains, Arizona)
• Setting: Acute Hospital / Inpatient Acute Care
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (April 13, 2026 – July 13, 2026)
• Shift: 10-hour days, Friday to Monday (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Key Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Active Physical Therapist (PT) license or willing to obtain Arizona PT licensure (licensure assistance considered)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required (AHA preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist in a hospital, acute care, or inpatient setting (acute care PT experience preferred)
• Experience with Allscripts or similar EHR charting systems
• Strong clinical assessment, mobility, and discharge planning skills
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality acute care physical therapy services to adult and/or geriatric inpatients
• Evaluate patients, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and document progress in the EHR (Allscripts)
• Perform functional mobility training, gait training, balance and fall prevention, and therapeutic interventions appropriate for inpatient populations
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, speech therapists, case managers, and other interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
• Participate in discharge planning and recommend appropriate post-acute care or home programs
• Provide patient and family education and contribute to a positive, supportive work environment
