Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Active and valid Physical Therapist (PT) license; ability to obtain California PT licensure for the assignment is required
• At least 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist in a hospital or similar inpatient setting (inpatient physical therapy experience preferred)
• Strong clinical skills in women's health, vestibular therapy, pelvic rehab, and patient management
• Experience with acute care evaluations, discharge planning, and interdisciplinary care coordination
• Excellent communication, documentation, and EMR proficiency
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary hospital team
• Preferred: BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; pelvic health or vestibular certifications are a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality inpatient physical therapy services to a diverse hospital patient population
• Perform evaluations, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and manage patient progress
• Deliver women's health, vestibular, and pelvic rehab interventions as indicated
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records in the facility EMR
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds, discharge planning, and care coordination
• Educate patients and families on rehabilitation goals, home exercise programs, and safe functional mobility
