- Location: Sylva, NC 28779 (Jackson County, Western North Carolina; Great Smoky Mountains area)
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 6, 2026 – July 6, 2026)
- Employment Type: Travel / Travel Physical Therapist (PT) job
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1810–$1940/week
- Setting: Outpatient orthopedics & neuro (3–5 days/week) and acute care/hospital PT (2 days/week)
- Shift: 8-hour days (08:00–16:00)
- Hours per Week: 40
- Patient Ratio: 1:1 therapy
- Weekend Hours: Rare, only as needed
- Call Requirements: None

Job Requirements
- Valid Physical Therapist (PT) certification/license
- At least 1 year of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist (new grads considered)
- Pelvic rehab experience required (pelvic floor therapy)
- Lymphedema therapy experience a plus but not required
- Ability to float to other units as needed (flexible hospital/outpatient coverage)
- Familiarity with Redoc (outpatient) and Paragon (acute care) EHR systems preferred
- Must be located at least 60 miles from Sylva, NC to qualify as a travel candidate
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality physical therapy services in both outpatient orthopedics/neuro and inpatient acute care settings
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment plans for orthopedic, neurological, and pelvic rehab patients
- Deliver 1:1 therapy sessions, progress reporting, and patient education focused on functional outcomes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (nursing, physicians, and rehab staff) to ensure coordinated patient care
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in hospital EHR systems (Redoc, Paragon)
- Float to other units occasionally to meet staffing needs and support continuity of care
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to contribute to an excellent patient experience
