Job Details

• Location: Tucson, Arizona (85741)
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (April 6, 2026 – July 5, 2026)
• Position: Travel Physical Therapist / Outpatient Physical Therapist
• Setting: Hospital Outpatient Clinic (outpatient physical therapy, post-surgical rehab)
• Shift: 8-hour day shifts
• Hours: 36 hours guaranteed per week, up to 40 hours
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,500–$1,610 per week
• Patient Population: 100% outpatient; ~50% post-surgical (orthopedic/post-op focus)
• Productivity Expectation: ~60 visits/week; 12–14 patients/day

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Valid Physical Therapist license in Arizona or eligibility to obtain an AZ PT license
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist; new graduates considered for outpatient travel therapy roles
• Outpatient and post-surgical / orthopedic rehab experience preferred
• Ability to manage a fast-paced schedule and double-book follow-up visits while maintaining quality patient care
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills—experience with electronic medical records a plus

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat adult patients in a busy hospital outpatient clinic with emphasis on post-surgical rehabilitation
• Develop individualized treatment plans and progress patients toward functional goals
• Maintain expected productivity (approximately 60 visits per week) while delivering patient-centered care
• Accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to optimize outcomes
• Provide patient education, home exercise programs, and discharge planning focused on safe return to activity
