  • Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (10-hour day shifts)

Job Requirements / Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist in a hospital or interventional radiology setting (IR experience preferred)
  • Valid Radiologic Technologist certification (state licensure required; ARRT accepted/preferred)
  • VI certification or CVIR required
  • Experience operating GE imaging equipment and documenting cases in Meditech EMR preferred
  • Neuro IR experience and thrombectomy center experience are a plus
  • Strong communication skills, ability to manage stressful/acute situations, and a team-player attitude
  • Dependable, proactive, and able to follow established IR protocols and safety procedures

Core Responsibilities

  • Perform a full range of interventional radiology procedures—from basic IR drains and lines to complex image-guided cases such as tumor ablation, spine jack procedures, and air embolism management
  • Support neuro IR and thrombectomy cases when applicable; assist with procedural setup, imaging, and sterile technique
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team (4 techs and 4–5 RNs during day shifts) to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care
  • Maintain patient ratios typically 1:1 to 3:1 and ensure accurate documentation in Meditech EMR
  • Operate and troubleshoot GE imaging systems; perform routine equipment checks and maintain imaging quality standards
  • Participate in on-call rotations as needed and contribute to a supportive, positive work environment
