- Shift Hours: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
- Call: Rotating call every 4th week
- Hours Per Week: 40
- Contract Length: 18 weeks
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,490-$2,670
- Orientation: 40 hours
- Charting System: Epic experience required
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiology Technologist, Radiologic Technologist, or IR Technologist
- Current ARRT certification required
- Current BLS certification required
- Virginia state license required; pending license may be accepted if in hand by the required pre-start deadline
- Experience supporting interventional radiology, vascular imaging, or special procedures preferred
- Epic experience required
- Comfort working in a high-acuity procedural and operating room environment
- Ability to float within scope of practice as needed
- Must meet travel healthcare compliance requirements, including references and credential verification
Responsibilities
- Provide imaging support in the OR for vascular interventional radiology procedures
- Assist with procedures such as angiography, angioplasty, thrombectomy, EVAR, TEVAR, and other special procedures
- Support access site preparation and procedural workflow with accuracy and efficiency
- Operate specialized imaging equipment, including Siemens ARTIS PHENO
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff to deliver safe, effective patient care
- Maintain professionalism and adaptability in a fast-paced procedural setting
- Participate in rotating call coverage as scheduled
- Follow all unit protocols, compliance standards, and patient safety practices
