Travel Radiologic Technologist / Interventional Radiology (IR) opportunity in Charlottesville, VA. - Duration: 13 weeks
- Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Call: Rotating call every 4th week
- Orientation: 40 hours
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,490 - $2,670
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of Radiologic Technologist experience
- ARRT certification required; ARRT VI preferred or required for the role
- BLS certification required
- Virginia state license required; pending license accepted if another state license is in hand
- Epic experience required
- Experience with vascular radiology and interventional radiology procedures strongly preferred
- Experience with Siemens equipment preferred
- Must be comfortable with a 50-mile travel rule where applicable
Responsibilities
- Support imaging services in the operating room and assist with vascular interventional radiology procedures
- Prepare patients and equipment for diagnostic imaging and special procedures
- Assist with advanced vascular cases, including angioplasty, carotid stenting, EVAR, TEVAR, thrombolysis, and thrombectomy
- Operate and support specialized imaging technology, including Siemens ARTIS PHENO
- Maintain accurate documentation and workflow in Epic
- Provide safe, high-quality patient care while collaborating with the procedural team
- Participate in rotating call coverage as scheduled
