Interventional Radiology Technologist Travel Job in Everett, Washington
Join a dynamic hospital-based interventional radiology team in Everett, WA, as a Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist. - Shift Duration: 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)
- Shifts Per Week: 4
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours
- Call: Required, approximately 5-7 days per month
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,350-$2,520
- Charting System: EPIC
- Orientation: 40 hours
- Guaranteed Hours: 70 hours per 2 weeks
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of interventional radiology technologist or similar procedural experience required
- Valid Washington State License required; compact license must be in hand at submission
- Required certifications: BLS, ARRT R
- Preferred certifications: ACLS, ARRT VI
- Strong experience with contrast administration and sterile technique
- Experience with angiograms, nephrograms, and venous access required
- Experience with biopsies, ablations, kyphoplasty, and special procedures preferred
- First-time travelers accepted with at least 2 years of experience
- Must be willing to provide 2 professional references covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years
- Ability to commit to required holiday coverage and scheduled call shifts
- Must be comfortable working in a high-acuity procedural environment
Responsibilities
- Assist with a wide variety of interventional radiology and special procedures
- Support advanced imaging-guided cases including cerebral angiography, stroke intervention, venography, Y90, chemoembolization, cryoablation, biopsies, and drain placements
- Prepare equipment, maintain a sterile field, and ensure safe room setup for procedures
- Work collaboratively with physicians and the procedural team in operating room and radiology settings
- Provide patient support during vascular access, catheter placement, and other image-guided interventions
- Maintain accuracy in documentation and workflow using EPIC
- Participate in call coverage as scheduled and remain flexible to the needs of the department
- Float to nearby sister facilities if needed, as part of assignment expectations
