Travel Radiologic Technologist (Ultrasound/RDMS) – 13-week weekend night contract in Manchester, NH (03102). Join a hospital radiology team for a high-quality travel sonographer job working 12-hour night shifts.

Job Details – Travel Rad Tech / Travel Sonographer

  • Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,730 – $1,860
  • Location: Manchester, NH (zip 03102)
  • Setting: Hospital – Level A Radiology (medical imaging / ultrasound department)
  • Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 20, 2026 – July 20, 2026)
  • Shift: 12-hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM); weekend night coverage
  • Hours per Week: 36
  • Unit: 4 ultrasound rooms, 14 staff members
  • Equipment / Technology: Siemens Acuson S200 & GE Logiq E10; EMR: Allscripts; PACS: InteleRad

Qualifications – Radiologic Technologist / Sonographer

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a hospital or acute care medical imaging setting
  • Clinical exposure to general, vascular, and OB-GYN sonography (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, pathology, and the ability to recognize normal vs. abnormal findings
  • Basic to intermediate scanning skills and understanding of sonographic physics and imaging techniques
  • Current BLS certification (AHA preferred)
  • RDMS certification required (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer)
  • NH MIRT Licensure required
  • Strong references and a positive track record with previous employers
  • Preferred: Additional certifications (RVT, OB-GYN, AB) and experience in OR and interventional ultrasound procedures

Key Responsibilities – Ultrasound / Sonography

  • Perform a wide range of ultrasound and sonographic procedures including thoracentesis, paracentesis, FNAs, soft tissue masses, lymph node biopsies, liver & renal biopsies, drainages, thrombin injections, and more
  • Assist in OR and interventional procedures such as breast needle placements, carotids, D&Cs, and prostate biopsies
  • Provide compassionate patient care across pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations
  • Accurately document imaging studies in PACS and EMR (InteleRad / Allscripts) and maintain image quality standards
  • Adhere to department policies, professional attendance standards, and PTO request guidelines
  • Maintain a professional appearance (scrubs or radiology-themed attire) and strong communication with management and team members
