- Position: Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist / IR Technologist
- Setting: Hospital – Interventional Radiology (IR)
- Contract Length: 13 weeks (with potential to extend)
- Start Date: May 18, 2026
- Shift: 4x10-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Call: Average of 10 days per month, including weekends
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,600 – $2,790
- Scrubs: Provided
- Parking: Onsite, no fee
Key Qualifications / Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent Interventional Radiology experience as an IR Technologist
- Active ARRT (R) certification required
- BLS certification (AHA)
- Experience in outpatient, inpatient, and adult ICU radiology settings
- Proficiency with PACS, C-Arm, contrast administration, and image-guided biopsies
- Hands-on experience with stents, angioplasty, angiograms, paracentesis, thoracentesis, nephrograms, peripheral procedures, drainages, vascular studies, venous access, neuro studies, GU/Abdomen/Pelvis, and upper/lower extremity procedures
- Ability to use and deploy pushable/detachable coils, microcatheters, microwires, Snare Kits, and injector systems (ACIST experience preferred)
- Epic charting experience required for accurate procedure documentation
- Must complete OSHA Respirator Clearance and Fit Testing (clean-shaven for mask seal)
- Travel requirement: candidates must live more than 70 miles from the facility (Missouri travel jobs / St. Louis travel assignment)
Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of interventional radiology procedures (angioplasty, stent placement, angiograms, biopsies, drainages, vascular studies) with proficiency and patient-focused care
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain imaging equipment including C-Arm, PACS, and injector systems
- Assist physicians and multidisciplinary teams during complex IR procedures to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
- Document procedures and patient encounters accurately and timely in Epic
- Participate in call rotation as assigned (average 10 days/month, including weekends)
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and infection control standards
