- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (April 6, 2026 – July 6, 2026)
- Job Type: Travel Radiation Therapist / Travel assignment
- Setting: Acute Care Hospital – Radiation Oncology Unit
- Shift: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts per week (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
- Hours per Week: 40
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,700–$2,900/week
- Charting System: Epic (experience preferred)
- Equipment: Elekta Infinity and Synergy systems
- Scrub Color: Black (Radiology)

Job Requirements / Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year recent experience as a Radiation Therapist (hospital or outpatient radiation oncology)
- Active California Radiation Therapy license required
- Current ARRT (T) certification
- Current BLS certification
- Experience with Epic charting system preferred
- Proficiency or exposure to SRS, SBRT, IMRT and CBCT imaging
- Experience with Elekta equipment preferred; training provided if needed
- Ability to float between like units and to nearby affiliate hospitals as needed
- Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
- References: Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver radiation therapy treatments to adult and geriatric patients per physician prescriptions
- Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment (Elekta Infinity, Synergy) and accessories
- Perform simulation, treatment planning support tasks, imaging (CBCT/kV/mV), and field shaping
- Conduct accurate documentation, chart checks and electronic charting using Epic
- Provide patient and family education on treatment procedures, side effects, and radiation safety
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including radiation oncologists, medical physics, radiology, respiratory, and social services
- Maintain compliance with radiation safety, QA, infection control, and hospital policies
- Float to similar units or affiliated hospitals as required by staffing needs
