• Estimated Weekly Pay Range: $2,310 – $2,480
• Department Equipment: Varian Truebeam linear accelerator (treatment), Siemens CT Simulator
• EMR/PACS (as applicable to oncology/RT workflows): Aria, PACS, Meditech
• Charting System: Epic

Job Requirements

• Experience: 1+ year of Radiation Therapy experience required; Truebeam experience within the last year required
• Certifications: ARRT (Radiation Therapy) and BLS
• License: West Virginia Radiation Therapist license (as required for practice)
• Technical Skills: Experience with 2D/3D treatment delivery, DIBH, IMRT, and SBRT
• Professional Skills: Ability to work independently; confidently support/lead alongside less experienced staff when needed

Responsibilities

• Accurately deliver prescribed ionizing radiation treatments per the radiation oncologist’s plan and departmental protocols
• Perform daily treatment setup, patient positioning, and image verification while maintaining strict radiation safety and quality standards
• Support CT simulation and related procedures (e.g., blocks) and assist with workflow across the radiation therapy service line
• Operate and troubleshoot radiation therapy equipment, including a Truebeam linear accelerator and Siemens CT simulation technology
• Document treatment delivery and patient care in Epic; use Aria/PACS/Meditech as applicable for radiation oncology workflows; communicate clearly with the multidisciplinary oncology care team
• Provide patient-centered care across all age groups, including pediatric through geriatric populations
