Travel Respiratory Therapist Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,730–$1,860

- Healthcare Setting: Hospital respiratory therapy unit

- Contract Duration: 13-week travel contract
- Schedule: Primarily 12-hour day shifts, with Tuesday–Thursday scheduled during week one and Friday–Sunday during week two

Registered Respiratory Therapist Job Requirements
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential and applicable Montana authorization
- At least 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP credentials
- Hospital-based respiratory therapy experience
- EPIC experience preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and follow the rotating schedule
Respiratory Therapist Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services to hospital patients across a range of clinical needs
- Assess, monitor, and document patients' respiratory status and response to treatment
- Administer respiratory treatments, therapies, and oxygen as ordered
- Operate and monitor respiratory care equipment safely and effectively
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team to support positive patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in the electronic medical record
- Respond promptly to respiratory care needs and emergency situations
