Compensation
- Weekly Estimated Pay Range: $1,860–$2,000 per week
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Requirements
- Experience: 2+ years of respiratory therapy experience (ICU and ER required; Adult critical care and NICU experience preferred)
- Credential: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP
- Clinical Skills: Pediatric ER respiratory support including intubation/mechanical ventilation; part of the resuscitation team for high-risk deliveries/high-risk C-sections; experience working in an adult ICU (required)
- EMR: EPIC experience preferred (EMR used on unit)
- Equipment: Drager V500, Hamilton T-1 transport ventilator, V60 BiPAP, Airvo highflow, NeoPuff, RAM cannula
Respiratory Therapist Responsibilities (Hospital Nights)
- Provide hospital-based respiratory care across units, floating as needed.
- Manage ventilators and oxygen delivery modalities, including transport ventilation and non-invasive support.
- Support ICU and ER respiratory needs, including assessment, airway management assistance, and ventilator management.
- Attend high-risk deliveries and high-risk C-sections as part of the resuscitation team (including nursery level 1 coverage as needed).
- Document in EPIC (EMR used on unit).
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams using clear communication, professionalism, and a team-first approach.
