Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- Minimum 2 years of current acute care hospital RRT experience; NICU/PICU experience required (at least 1 year preferred)
- Current BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications
- Experience with ventilators and neonatal/pediatric respiratory support in acute care settings
- Preferred: experience with Meditech documentation system
- Team player with strong critical thinking, adaptability, and patient-care focus
Key Responsibilities
- Provide assessment, treatment, and evaluation for patients with respiratory diseases across NICU, PICU, and adult units
- Manage and operate advanced respiratory equipment including High Flow devices, 3100A, Bunnell, Servo ventilators, continuous nebulizers, Nitric Oxide, Heliox, and standard nebulizers
- Perform neonatal and pediatric ventilator management, BIPAP, and airway support per unit protocols
- Document all patient care accurately in the Meditech system (or facility EHR)
- Float to adult floors as needed for nebulizer therapy, chest physiotherapy (CPT), BIPAP setup, and other respiratory interventions
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality respiratory care and patient safety
- Maintain required uniform (Light Gray/Silver) and professional standards
