• Setting: Hospital – Respiratory Therapy Unit (acute care)
• Assignment Type: Travel Contract (13-week assignment)
• Start / End Dates: May 18, 2026 – August 17, 2026
• Shifts: 3x12-hour rotating shifts per week (mix of days and nights, includes weekends & holidays)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,690 – $1,810

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
• Cardiopulmonary certification required
• Minimum 1 year recent hospital respiratory therapy experience (acute care)
• Ability to work rotating day/night shifts, weekends and holidays
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-centered care skills

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality respiratory care to adult and pediatric patients in a hospital setting
• Provide assessments, oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and chest physiotherapy as ordered
• Operate and manage mechanical ventilators; perform ventilator checks and weaning protocols
• Obtain and analyze arterial blood gases (ABGs) and document patient response to therapy
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize pulmonary outcomes
• Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment; ensure infection control and safe work environment
• Participate in rotating shifts and cover weekends/holidays per schedule
