Job Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited sonography program
- At least 1 year of recent sonographer experience required
- Sonographer certification or equivalent credential required
- Experience working in a hospital, breast center, or diagnostic imaging setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of ultrasound equipment, breast imaging, and imaging protocols
- Ability to complete required competencies, screenings, and verification items prior to onboarding
- Excellent communication skills and a patient-focused approach
Responsibilities
- Operate ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic imaging studies
- Capture accurate breast ultrasound images to support clinical evaluation and patient care
- Follow established imaging procedures, safety standards, and department workflows
- Prepare patients for examinations and provide professional, compassionate care
- Work collaboratively with physicians, radiology staff, and the care team to ensure timely completion of studies
- Maintain documentation and imaging quality standards throughout each shift
