Job Requirements
- Associate degree in radiology or equivalent certification required
- RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) certification required
- Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required
- 5+ years of cardiac sonography experience required
- Experience with TEE, TTE, and stress echo required
- Ability to work confidently in a fast-paced cardiac imaging environment
- Epic experience is a plus
- Ability to start IVs is a plus
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasound studies with accuracy and professionalism
- Scan patients across all aspects of cardiac imaging, including M-Mode, 2-D, color Doppler, exercise testing, and TEE
- Operate ultrasound equipment and produce high-quality images for physician interpretation
- Assist with bubble studies and the use of imaging agents as directed
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the cardiac care team to support timely patient care
- Follow established departmental policies, procedures, and quality standards
- Contribute to a smooth workflow and provide exceptional patient-focused service
