Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a diagnostic sonographer or ultrasound technologist; cardiac (echocardiography) and vascular experience preferred
• ARDMS or CCI certification required (ARDMS credentials may include RDMS, RDCS, RVT)
• BLS certification required
• Proven ability to work independently in a hospital echocardiography/vascular lab and collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Travel candidates only (no local applicants within a 50-mile radius)

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac and vascular ultrasound examinations, including transthoracic echo and vascular duplex studies, in the ECHO/Vascular Lab
• Provide accurate, timely diagnostic imaging and high-quality sonographic images to support patient care and clinical decision-making
• Collaborate with physicians, cardiologists, and other healthcare professionals to review and interpret results
• Maintain ultrasound equipment, adhere to infection control standards, and ensure proper documentation of procedures in the electronic medical record
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and communicate findings clearly to patients and clinical teams
