- Position: Sterile Processing Technician (Sterile Processing Tech / SPD Technician)
- Setting: Hospital
- Employment Type: Travel assignment
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Shift Duration: 8-hour shifts
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with weekend rotation once in an 8-week window
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,150 - $1,240

Job Requirements
- 5+ years of acute care Sterile Processing experience required
- Recent travel experience required
- Current CRCST by IAHCSMM or CSPDT by ASHCSP required
- Certification must be maintained with required CEUs
- High school diploma or GED required
- Fluent English speaking skills required
- Proficiency in orthopedics, cardiac, and neurosurgery required
- Level I Trauma facility experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Prepare, clean, process, and maintain surgical instruments and equipment to support safe patient care
- Ensure sterile processing standards, central sterile procedures, and infection control protocols are followed accurately and consistently
- Support orthopedic, cardiac, and neurosurgery service lines with specialized instrument handling
- Maintain workflow efficiency in a busy hospital SPD environment
- Collaborate with surgical, clinical, and perioperative teams to help keep procedures on schedule
- Adhere to established protocols for quality, safety, and sterilization best practices
